ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a new role that will be an important part of the success of vœu as it builds long term relationships with its clients. The consultant / senior consultant has mandate of securing consulting engagements and then successfully delivering the services we offer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
You will be responsible for the delivery of short and long term assignments, programs and projects for our clients. This will include preparation of an engagement plan that includes the scope, timetable, resources, milestones, and measurable outcomes of the work to be performed. You will be accountable for expeditiously delivering the engagement plan to achieve the business objective.
You can expect that you will be will be
– interacting with client and contacts to secure assignments
– development of proposals for consulting and advisory engagements
– conducting client meetings and facilitating workshops
– undertaking detailed research and situational review
– preparing detailed reports and presentations
– executing strategy and plans to improve business performance
– interacting with internal and external stakeholders
– providing advice for optimising project and organisational outcomes
– working closing with the organisation to manage progress and expectations
ABOUT YOU
A background in the water industry is essential for this role along with a network of contacts on both the client and delivery side. You will have a reputation in the water industry for delivering positive outcomes through collaboration. To be considered you must have
– undergraduate degree in relevant discipline with post graduate qualifications preferred
– minimum 10 years similar experience in similar role either as a client, a consultant or contractor
– an established network and reputation within the water industry
– proven experience working in a collaborative environment
